VACANCIES: 

Internal Business Development Coordinator 
40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday based in Denton.

The Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are looking for an experienced Internal Business Development Coordinator to work in the Business Development Department at TKC. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyse and understand why a customer is spending less than previous years and implement remedial action to improve spend performance. Improved spend performance will come through regular and consistent contact with customers, along with the ability to adapt to a customer’s needs. The role isn’t one of ‘hard selling’, however the ideal candidate must have a passion for selling products and services, along with the ability to think on their feet and overcome objections.

General Description:
The main role of the Internal Business Development Coordinator is to engage with new and existing customers, nurturing and developing the relationships to encourage spend with TKC. The IBD Coordinator will analyse customer spending trends and take remedial action to improve customer’s spending performance.

Key Tasks:

  • Liaise and build rapport with all new business enquiries, including tours, product knowledge transfer, account opening.
  • Achieve relevant targets/KPIs
  • Liaise with ASMs to provide the necessary support to acquire and retain accounts.
  • Update and maintain customer database and CRM/MI systems as required.
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties that may arise.

Spray Shop Operative
40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday based in Denton.

The Role:
 
TKC is a leading trade supplier to the UK and Ireland’s kitchen and bedroom industry, offering a vast range of kitchen doors and accessories and we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sprayer to join the Spray Shop team, operating within our custom-build onsite spray facility. General Description: The main role of a Spray Shop Operative is to polish, spray, finish and paint customer’s orders to an excellent quality, and in a timely manner.

Key Tasks:

  • Pre-sanding, sanding, filling and preparing items for spraying
  • Using machines and hand tools to ensure product is customer ready
  • Priming, lacquering, painting, staining
  • Quality control during/through to finish
  • Reporting and remedying any defects in the product.
  • Working to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining quality.
  • Packing of finished goods • Preparing items for despatch
  • Processing orders into location • Keeping spray booth area tidy
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and complies with company standards and health and safety legislation, at all times

Candidate specification:

  • Possess a conscientious approach with a keen eye for details
  • Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining excellent quality
  • Follow instructions and be adaptable to any changes in the product line

  • Experience of a woodwork spray shop environment
  • Knowledge of priming, lacquering, paint, stains, finishes
  • Knowledge and understanding of health & safety legislations, COSHH

Kitchen Quote Administrator
40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday based in Denton.

The Role:
Due to our expansion in our Kitchen Quotes department, TKC are looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Quote Administrator to join our well-established and highly reputable kitchen door and accessories company in Denton, Greater Manchester.

General Description:
The role of Kitchen Quote Administrator is to be a point of contact for TKC’s customers who require pricing for full kitchen quotes.

Key Tasks:

  • Convert kitchen plans in to quotes and orders on the Access system
  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and generate sales from new customers
  • Liaising with customers and internal departments
  • Being proactive in the chasing of quotes to ensure orders and sales are maximised
  • Order processing
  • Learning how to convert kitchen plans in to quotes (full training provided)
  • Meeting department targets and KPIs
  • Ensuring full payment is made by customers at time of order
  • Processing credit card payments

 

Candidate specification:

  • Understanding and experience of design is essential
  • Logical, methodical, systematic approach with an obsession for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining focused on key priorities
  • A good team-player
  • Good can-do attitude
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Understanding and experience of basic spatial design is essential
  • Possess excellent communication skills
