In the year of our 35th anniversary in business, TKC is delighted to announce a major new site that will facilitate the next stage of our growth and provide multiple benefits to our customers.
What is it?
We have a new site that’s 2 minutes from TKC’s HQ with an additional 65,000 square feet, which is being custom fitted to TKC’s requirements.
Why have you done it?
In the last 5 years, the TKC business has doubled in size and we plan to do the same in the next 5 years and our new site is a key strategic step in that journey.
What are your plans for the new site?
We’ll have c 10,000 additional pallet spaces allowing us to greatly enhance our product portfolio. We’ll also be using the new site to bolster our paint to order capacity and increase our manufacturing and assembly capabilities.
Our new site will also house a state of the art 5,000 square ft customer experience centre.
What does it mean for TKC customers?
In doubling our capacity, our plan is to widen our product range and increase the number of in stock ranges. Our new customer experience centre will comprehensively showcase the depth and breadth of our offer and inspire our customers when planning their showrooms and displays. The centre includes dedicated training areas and a product development suite which will create a hub to ensure knowledge of our products is maximised and that our customers are well informed of our planned product launches.
Our new paint to order lines once operational, will double our capacity and in turn, reduce lead times.
When is it live?
Our anticipated go live date for the operation is November 2024, with the customer experience centre to follow shortly afterwards.
